The fine print

How the money actually works.

The terms operators ask about — written down up front so the trial does not turn into a surprise.

01 · Hardware on cancel

Ship it back or buy it out.

The terminal hardware is yours to use during your subscription. If you cancel, ship it back at our expense, or pay a $300 buyout to keep it. The buyout is for the hardware only. Horizon Grain itself is a subscription: the web app, the terminal software, sync, and updates all end when your subscription does.

02 · Monthly or yearly

Twelve months either way.

Yearly is $4,000 — twelve months for the price of ten — by card, bank transfer, or check. Monthly is $400 by card on a 12-month term; you can cancel at renewal, not mid-term. There is no refund on early cancellation; service continues to the end of your paid term.

03 · Switching plans

Start monthly. Go yearly anytime.

You can move from monthly to yearly whenever you like, from the Billing link in the app, which opens your Stripe billing page. You pay the yearly price less the unused part of the month you already paid for, and your year starts that day.

04 · Trial → paid

Stripe checkout at day thirty.

The 30-day trial requires no credit card to start. When the trial ends, you complete checkout through Stripe to keep your data and keep going. Log back in after; your site picks up where you left it. Your terminal ships once that first payment clears.

The promise

Your rate holds for 36 months.

The rate you start at is locked for three years. After that it never rises more than 5% in a year, and never without 90 days' notice. No tier shuffling, no usage bumps, no renegotiation.

Spend thirty days in it. See if it fits.
